Southwestern sprinted out to an 18-9 advantage at Indiana Deaf Tuesday after one quarter and never trailed again.
The Spartans’ lead grew to 33-14 by halftime and finished at 70-28.
Eleven different Spartans scored in the win. Ben Kahler led all scorers with 17 points. Jace Patterson was the only other Spartan to reach double figures with 13 points.
Matthew Saaty led Indiana Deaf (1-15) with 15 points.
Southwestern won the junior varsity game, 56-18. Dusty Stevens led the Spartans with 13 points.
Southwestern (6-11) is at Morristown (8-10) Thursday.

New venue for Knightstown game
Southwestern announced Tuesday afternoon that the Feb. 18 game at Knightstown will be played at the historic Hoosier Gym (photo) in Knightstown.
Located at 355 N. Washington St., the gymnasium served as the home court for the Hickory Huskers in the movie “Hoosiers.”
The junior varsity game will tipoff at 6 p.m. with the varsity game to follow.
