Class 2A, No. 16 Triton Central improved to 7-3 Wednesday with an 85-15 win over Southwestern.
Five Tigers scored in double digits, led by Maryrose Felling’s 20. The senior pushed her career scoring total to 1,457 points putting her solely in second place on the list trailing only Samantha Dewey (1,702 points).
Quinn King finished with 13 points. Layla Compton had 11 while Kate Collier and Madison Swisher each finished with 10.
Bryla Dunbar led Southwestern (2-10) with six points.
The two-quarter junior varsity game was won by Triton Central, 26-2. Ryn West led the Tigers with seven points.
The Spartans host Waldron (4-5) Saturday.
Triton Central hosts Batesville (6-4) Tuesday.
