The Lawrenceville basketball Indians rolled to their seventh straight win to start the season Tuesday with a 57-37 victory over the South Knox Spartans in non-conference play at Verne, Indiana.
The Tribe played a sloppy first quarter but still lead 15-9 after the period. They began to take control of the game in the second and increased the lead to 28-15 at the half. The lead was 45-22 after three and the Indian bench played much of the fourth quarter.
Noah Wilson had 17 points and Zander Cessna added 13 to pace the Indians, who also outrebounded the host Spartans on the evening.
The Indian JV lost for the first time as they were beaten 43-32 with Blayton Gossett scoring 15 in the loss. They are now 1-1
