The Lawrenceville basketball Indians scored the first 20 points in the game and were never challenged after that in a 76-21 non-conference victory Tuesday night over the Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville Wildcats at Lawrenceville.
The Tribe led 24-2 after one quarter, 45-10 at the half, and 66-15 after three quarters in improving to 5-0 on the season.
Jacek Mickiewicz led four Indians in double figures with 17 points, Aiden Winningham scored a career high 16 points of the bench and Jayden Goff added 12 and Noah Wilson 11 to lead the balanced attack.
The Indian JV also won their first game of the season over OPH 50-29.
The unbeaten Indians are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Marion, Illinois to face Mounds Meridian in the Marion Shootout. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. CT.
