Wanda M. Jones, age 98 of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2026, at BridgePointe Health Campus of Vincennes, IN.
Wanda M. Jones, age 98 of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2026, at BridgePointe Health Campus of Vincennes, IN. On July 23, 1927, she was born the daughter of Samuel H. Cullison and Bretta M. (Willis) Cullison.
Wanda married the love of her life, Curtis Wayne Jones. Together they raised their two children, Dennis and Linda, and served their Lord. Wayne preceded Wanda in death on March 14, 1998.
She was a devoted and long-time member of the First Christian Church in Bridgeport, where she proudly taught Sunday school for forty years and was a homemaker to her family.
Wanda was witty and kind. She loved her family and truly cared about others and how they were doing.
Those honored to carry on her legacy include: one daughter- Linda Jones of Edina, MN; one son Dennis Jones and (Sandy Diggs) of Lawrenceville; four grandchildren; Laura Hall of Bicknell, IN, Ryan Jones of Oswego, IL, Zach Jones of Normal, IL and Matthew Molzahn of Portland, OR and her extended family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents- Sam and Bretta Cullison; husband- Wayne Jones; and step-mother- Wanda Cullison.
Private services will be held for Wanda.
