The Town of Culver will begin construction on the Lake Shore Drive Road Widening Project on Monday.
In March, Culver Town Manager Kevin Dante told members of the Town Council that the town had received $1,011,810.75 in Community Crossing Matching Grant Funds. The Community Crossing Funds were allocated to widen North Lake Shore Drive between the intersection of State Road 10 and State Road 17, going south to Academy Road. The project also encompasses a stormwater initiative and curbing.
The construction zone for this project is located on Lake Shore Drive between State Road 10 and Academy Road.
Two-way traffic will be closed; however, the town will attempt to maintain single-lane traffic through this area to provide access to Park and Shop, as well as First National Bank of Monterey.
Any concerns or questions can be addressed to Kevin Dante at kdanti@townofculver.org.
