The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch beginning Saturday morning and extending into Sunday evening for much of central Indiana.
Heavy snow is possible. Total snow accumulation between 4 and 7 inches is possible across portions of central, east central, south central,
southeast, southwest, and west central Indiana.
The National Weather Service does note that confidence on snowfall amounts remains low, especially near and north of I-70.
Persons should consider delaying travel. If travel is necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm kit along
with you, including such items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing. Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help you survive in case you become stranded.
