Kokomo's West Boulevard Street will be closed between Boulder Way and Carmelita Boulevard beginning at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday for railroad crossing removal and replacement.
This work is anticipated to take three working days. It is the expectation, at this time, that this road will be re-opened on Tuesday, August 5 in the morning, weather permitting.
Westbound traffic will need to detour at Dixon, either north to Defenbaugh, or south to Zartman. Eastbound traffic will need to detour at Malfalfa and either north to Defenbaugh ot south to Zartman.
