Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to combine gardening and cooking in a fun and educational environment, organizers say.
Purdue Extension Kosciusko County is partnering with Tippecanoe Valley High School to offer a hands-on workshop titled Garden to Table: Wholesome Vegetable Soup in the Instapot, taking place on Jan. 21, from 6-8 p.m., at Tippecanoe Valley High School.
During this interactive workshop, participants will learn the basics of gardening, including tips and techniques for growing their own fresh vegetables. They will then use their homegrown produce to prepare a nutritious and delicious vegetable soup using the popular Instapot.
This workshop is a great opportunity to gain valuable gardening skills and explore new ways to create healthy meals from your garden. Plus, dinner is included.
To register for the event, call 574-372-2340 by Jan. 17. Note: Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
For more information about the Garden to Table: Wholesome Vegetable Soup in the Instapot program, contact Emily Kresca, Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator at the number above or via email at eluc@purdue.edu.
