State Rep. Jack Jordan to serve on Interim Study Committee on Fiscal Policy

State Representative Jack Jordan (R-Bremen) announced this week that he will be serving as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Fiscal Policy, one of several bipartisan study committees that meet throughout the summer and fall to examine pressing issues facing Indiana communities.

Each year between legislative sessions, Indiana lawmakers gather on these committees to review important policy topics, hear from experts and stakeholders, and develop recommendations that may shape legislation in the upcoming session. This year's committees will examine a broad range of topics, including public safety, transportation, education, healthcare, agriculture, and government services.

The fiscal policy committee on which Jordan will serve focuses on the financial issues impacting state and local government — a topic with direct implications for communities across Marshall County and the 17th District.

Committee meetings are open to the public, and Hoosiers are encouraged to attend, watch livestreams, and submit feedback on the issues being discussed. For information on committee assignments, meeting schedules, agendas, and livestream access, visit iga.in.gov.
