The Plymouth High School Theatre Department proudly presents Godspell, the Musical! Friday, March 31 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, April 1 at 7:00 pm. Both performances are in the PHS Auditorium and guests are asked to use Door #5 at the north end of Plymouth High School. Doors open 30 minutes before each show. All tickets are $7.00 each. Godspell is presented through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
Based on the Gospel according to Matthew, Godspell is the first musical theatre offering from composer Stephen Schwartz who went on to write such well-known hits as Wicked, Pippin, and Children of Eden. The show features a comedic troupe of eccentric players who team up with Jesus to teach his lessons in a new age through parables, games, and tomfoolery.
