Parke Heritage students assisted the Rockville Rotary Club with the “Stamp Out Hunger” May 9 postal food drive.
Almost 5200 pounds of donations were received, which is up 1500 pounds over last year.
Abbie Lash was recognized for participating in the “Stamp Out Hunger” Postal Food Drive with the PHHS Interact Club for four years. Also assisting with this program this year were Abigail Julbert, Drew Allen, Evan Furr, Thomas Furr, Maddison Fischer, and Brooklynn Reath.
The volunteers assisted members of the Rotary Club with sorting the items at the Parke County Food Pantry.
