The Plymouth Fire Department, with mutual aid assistance from Argos, responded to a fully engulfed pole barn fire south of the city on Sunday evening.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. on March 29, emergency crews were dispatched to a property located at 12195 Muckshaw Road, just south of 12th Road. The property is owned by Seth and Jessica Ellinger.
Upon responding to the scene and assessing the size and rural location of the blaze, Plymouth fire officials immediately called for backup. The Argos Fire Department was requested to respond with a tanker and additional manpower to help bring the small pole barn fire under control.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
The exact cause of the fire is currently unknown and remains under investigation by local authorities.
