Officers from the Plymouth Police Department responded to a domestic altercation at the Economy Inn on Tuesday morning, February 4th.
At approximately 4:45 a.m., Corporal Schieber responded to the Economy Inn for the report. During his investigation, it was determined that the individuals involved had an active protection order. 29-year-old Michael Carver, who lives at the Economy Inn, had been ordered to stay away from the female.
Carver was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, booked for invasion of privacy, and held on a $500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
