McDonald’s celebrates National Egg McMuffin Day with $1 Egg McMuffins on March 2

Fifty years ago, McDonald’s revolutionized the breakfast game with the introduction of the iconic Egg McMuffin that still fuels millions of mornings. Made with a toasted English muffin, Canadian bacon, American cheese, butter, and freshly cracked, cage-free eggs, the Egg McMuffin has been a McDonald’s breakfast MVP for decades, which even spawned its own national holiday.

In honor of this golden anniversary, the Golden Arches are doubling down on breakfast - offering fans even more reasons to wake up with McDonald’s and save on their favorites.

Bagel Sandwiches are Now Nationwide: For the first time ever, McDonald’s renowned bagel sandwiches are now available across the U.S. 

Krispy Kreme® Expansion: By the end of this year, more than half of all McDonald’s restaurants in the U.S. will offer Krispy Kreme® Doughnuts, with nationwide availability by the end of 2026.
