Knox man arrested for felony OWI following unwanted guest complaint

A 50-year-old man from Knox is facing a felony charge after local law enforcement responded to a report of an unwanted guest on Wednesday morning.

According to a news release from Deputy Ryan Hollopeter of the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, patrol units were dispatched to the 15,000 block of State Road 17 at approximately 7:16 a.m. on March 26.

Upon arrival, officers were informed that a male subject, later identified as Timothy Howard, was intoxicated and refusing to leave the property. During the investigation, law enforcement determined that Howard had driven his vehicle to the residence while in a state of intoxication.

Howard was subsequently taken into custody and arrested on a level 6 felony charge of operating while intoxicated with a previous conviction.

He was booked into jail and is being held on a $1,505 bond. The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by the Culver Police Department.
