A seasoned professional with a multifaceted foundation in business, finance, and education, Felke brings a depth of expertise and experience to her new role, ensuring the district’s resources are aligned with its mission to educate and equip every student for success.
Felke’s career is a testament to her commitment to fiscal responsibility and educational advancement. Her impressive qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from DePauw University and a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Bethel University. She has also completed advanced coursework in business, accounting, and finance at Indiana University South Bend and the University of Notre Dame. Her professional journey spans both private and public sectors, with significant accomplishments in financial stewardship and educational leadership.
Felke's diverse career began in the private sector, where she served as a Staff Accountant at CTS Corporation and later as the Chief Financial Officer for a fifth-generation family business. She demonstrated exceptional financial acumen by streamlining operations, optimizing budgets, and ensuring fiscal sustainability. Her entrepreneurial spirit also led to the founding of a successful small business.
In the realm of education, Felke’s impact has been equally profound. Most recently, she served as Director of the North Central Career and Technical Education Cooperative, where she increased program enrollment by 40% in two years and introduced numerous innovative programs to enhance student opportunities. Her leadership at the Weidner School of Inquiry at Plymouth High School earned national recognition as an Exemplar School by the Partnership for 21st Century Skills.
As Business Manager, Felke will oversee the district’s financial operations, ensuring transparency, strategic planning, and efficient use of public funds to support PCSC's educational goals. Her leadership will be instrumental in navigating the complexities of public school finance while fostering trust and collaboration within the community.
