The Vincennes Fourth of July Committee has announced that it will present the 2024 Spirit of ’76 award to Ellen Harper.
Harper was nominated for her dedication, efforts and impact on the Vincennes community, particularly work on the transformation of Main Street in the downtown area. She will serve as the Grand Marshall of the July 4th parade and will then be presented the award following the parade Thursday in the dining room of the Harmony Club located at 111 North Second Street. The public is invited to attend.
