A death investigation is now a homicide investigation for Greenwood Police.
Few details of the case have been released. Just after 10 a.m. Monday officers were dispatched to check the welfare of residents at 607 Greenway Street. Officers found Karon Clay, 33, and her three-year son, Karter Clay, dead at the scene.
Following Tuesday’s autopsies the Greenwood Police report they have now shifted to a homicide investigation.
