Every year Veterans seek out the benefits and gifts given by companies on Veterans Day. For the 8th year, U Matter 2 Inc. wants to offer a meal that is not rushed or stressful. On Saturday, November 9th, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., U Matter 2 Inc. will be sponsoring a free meal for Veterans and their families. The meal will be served at the Lakeville American Legion Post 363 at 214 South Lake Street in Lakeville.
U Matter 2 Inc. will be serving a spaghetti dinner along with a salad, a dessert and a drink. There will be an Open Cash Bar available. This meal is for Veterans to have a safe place, to meet other Veterans, to create a bond with other Veterans, so, when a crisis happens, they have a battle buddy to help them through the fire. We want others to know, someone has invisible wounds, someone needs to know they have purpose, someone needs to know THEY MATTER.
The mission of U Matter 2 Inc. is simple: Serving one Veteran at a time! They are everyday people who want to make a change by serving our own local Veterans who are struggling in today's world. They want Veterans to know they are not alone. Visit www.umatter2inc.org. For questions, please contact Ruth Dilts, Public Relations Officer, at 1-574-216-5041 or email um2pro@yahoo.com.
