The Pilot News is changing its delivery schedule. Starting the week of September 28th, the newspaper will move to a three-times-per-week delivery on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The change was announced in an advertisement published in the Pilot News earlier this week, signed by Publisher Cindy Stockton and Editor Jim Masterson.
"We are proud to serve Marshall County, and these papers will still be filled with local content and some new features for you to enjoy," the ad states. "We encourage you to support local journalism and media, so that we may continue to bring the news and advertising that you can trust."
The announcement comes as newspapers across the country continue to navigate a changing media landscape, with many publications adjusting delivery schedules while maintaining their commitment to local coverage. The Pilot News has served the Marshall County community for decades, providing local news, sports, community events, and advertising.
Stockton and Masterson's message to readers emphasized that while the delivery schedule is changing, the paper's dedication to local content remains — with new features planned for readers to enjoy alongside the familiar coverage they've come to rely on.
