Units of the Bridgeport Fire Protection District responded to a structure fire Friday, October 30th at 1170 Adams Street in Bridgeport-the address of the Port in Bridgeport.
Initial reports indicate that a product storage shed located behind the main building caught fire during the early morning. It also caused damage to a nearby outdoor beer garden.
The main building was not damaged and there were no reported injuries. Despite the fire, the Port was open for business Friday, but with a limited menu due to the destruction of items inside the product shed.
No other details surrounding the fire were immediately available.
