Grab your paddles and get ready to dink and drive for a fantastic cause!

The Plymouth Lions Club is serving up a fun-filled day of friendly competition with its second annual Pickleball Tournament, set to hit the courts at Centennial Park on Saturday, May 2.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just figuring out how to stay out of the "kitchen," there is a spot for you. The tournament will feature male and female doubles in a round-robin format, with divisions tailored for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players.

Teams can check in between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., with the first serves flying right at 9 a.m. Participants are reminded to bring their own paddles and equipment to the courts.

While the on-court action promises to be a smash, the real winners of the day are local students. All funds raised from the tournament will go directly back into the community to support the Plymouth Lions Club's youth initiatives. Proceeds will help conduct vision screenings for kindergarteners, provide dictionaries to all third graders in Plymouth, award scholarships to graduating seniors, and purchase eyeglasses for children in need.

Want to secure your spot and save some cash? The early registration deadline is April 10, with a fee of $80 per team. For the procrastinators, registration after April 10 bumps up to $100 per team.

Don't miss out on the chance to dink for a difference! Players can register their teams online today at www.givegrove.com/lionspickleball2026.
