A Plymouth man was arrested for OWI after a city officer stopped his vehicle at about 2:25 a.m. Saturday.

Corporal Schieber with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Gilmore and Fife Street for a moving violation, and during the officer's investigation, it was found that 47-year-old Matthew Schoff of Plymouth was intoxicated.

Schoff was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was lodged for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

At about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Officer Witkowski with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling south on North Michigan Street without headlights.

The driver, 20-year-old Kevin L. Calvillo, of Plymouth, was found to be operating the vehicle without ever having obtained a valid driver's license.

Calvillo was taken into custody, transported to the Marshall County Jail, and booked for operating without a license.
