Jail Bookings
The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Shawnna D. Barnes-Gilbert, 47, 413 E. 14th St., Rochester, was arrested Tuesday on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. She was additionally taken into custody on a warrant issued out of Pulaski County. She was arrested by city police at Quality Inn, 289 McDonald Drive, and held without bond.

• Ronda K. Cudney, 40, 6358 N. Birch Lane, Rochester, was arrested Tuesday on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. She was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies during a traffic stop at State Road 17 and County Road 650 North and held on a $2,500 surety or $500 cash bond.

• Peter P. Dancy III, 51, 6178 S. Birch Lane, Rochester, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with torturing or mutilating an animal, failure to property dispose of a dead animal and cruelty to an animal. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies with Cudney.

• Edward D. Taylor, 52, 1816 E. 800 North, Twelve Mile, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of possession of marijuana. He was taken into custody at the jail and held without bond.

• Nelson E. Cox, 56, 1720 Idlewild Drive, Rochester, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with probation revocation on an original charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was taken into custody at the courthouse and held on a $1,054 cash bond.

Police Incidents
Break-in
• Police responding to a report of an open door at 1205 Elm St. around 6 a.m. Tuesday reported finding a back door that appeared to have been kicked in.
Lines down
• At 9:22 a.m. Tuesday, police received a report that an Apex Waste truck pulled utility lines down at 1067 S. 900 East, Akron.
Suspicious
• At 9:42 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to Rochester Motel, 2147 Southway 31, on a report that a man wearing a mask and walking in the parking lot was possibly carrying a hatchet. He was unable to be located.
Juvenile fight
• Shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report that a male juvenile was being treated for injuries at Woodlawn Hospital after a fight earlier in the day at school.
Harassment
• Shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report about harassment involving a fallen tree and neighboring properties in the 600 block of North Smith Street in Kewanna.
Mischief
• Shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday, a resident of 1412 Spear St. requested to speak with an officer about juveniles vandalizing their home. Police records indicate that a sliding patio door was window painted and plastic forks were found in the yard, however, there did not appear to be any damage done.
