Marshall County Police investigated a 3-vehicle accident on U.S. 6 near Dogwood Road on Monday, just after 5 p.m.
A 2017 GMC Sierra driven by 37-year-old Lisa Miller of Nappanee was traveling west on U.S. 6 approaching Dogwood Road behind a 2024 Toyota Camry and a 2002 Toyota Avalon.
Joseph Mills, 86, from Rochester, drove the Camry, and Ricky Molden, 57, of Bremen, drove the Toyota. They were both stopped on U.S. 6 facing west, waiting to turn south onto Dogwood Road.
Miller told police that she looked down briefly, and when she looked up, she saw that the two vehicles in front of her were stopped. She could not avoid the collision and rear-ended the Camary, which was pushed into the Toyota. All occupants were transported to the area hospital for minor injuries.
Marshall County Police were assisted at the scene by Bremen Police, Fire, and EMS, along with the Nappanee Fire and EMS Department.
