Deputy Matt Brown with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated a two-vehicle accident on U.S.6 at Miami Trail on Sunday at about 4:30 p.m.
The police report states that 19-year-old Kennedy Cassel was traveling north on Miami Trail in a 2002 Chevy Tahoe and stopped at the stop sign at U.S. 6. Cassel then continued north and pulled into the path of 2022 semi driven by 52-year-old Scott McCoy.
Kenney Cassel was transported to Memorial Hospital, while the semi-driver was uninjured.
The police report states that Cassel was also not wearing her seatbelt.
Deputy Brown with the Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by Bremen Police, Bremen EMS, and Bremen Fire.
