Plymouth – Billy S. Stockberger, 80, was ushered into the arms of his Savior on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. Born on April 18, 1946 in Argos, Billy was the son of Kenneth and Anna Jane (Wallace) Stockberger.
After graduating from high school, Billy went on to hold a dedicated career that spanned more than 40 years as a truck driver with Stockberger Trucking. Billy is fondly remembered by the nickname, “Silly,” by many people that knew and loved him.
Billy was united in marriage with the love of his life, Barbara Povlock, on December 18, 1971 at Sunrise Chapel in Plymouth.
Billy is survived by his son, Ron (Sandy) Stockberger; grandchildren, Dyllan Stockberger, Brianna Stockberger, and Jeremy Stockberger; great-grandchildren, Jaiden and Jasmine; along with his siblings, Pam Taylor, Allen (Drema) Stockberger, and Carl (Tonya) Stockberger.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Anna; beloved wife, Barbara; daughter, Annie Marie Stockberger; and his siblings, Judy Keck, Fern Treesh, Merlin Stockberger, Wayne Stockberger, and Ivy Stockberger.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 1-3PM at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 3PM with Jeff Lindsey officiating.
Billy will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery.
