Sophie is the daughter of Brian and Liz Wray. She is also a member of the track & field team, member of the pep club, art club and student council.
Wray plans to compete for the cross country team and is going to major in Elementary Education. Sophie chose Indiana because she knew she would be challenged in ways she hadn’t been before.
The IU Cross Country team runs at the Sam Bell Cross Country Course named after the IU track and field and cross country coach from 1970-1998.
On behalf of myself and the whole coaching staff, we want to congratulate Sophie on her "commitment to IU. Congratulations on your advancement to State, achieving All-State Status, running the school 5k record, and being an Indiana All Star. Best of luck at IU! “Let's give a round of applause and wish the best of luck to Sophie on her future success at Indiana," said Coach Nordmann.
