Triton Central sophomore Eli Sego has been named the Indiana Crossroads Conference Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
The ICC released its 2024 All-Conference Boys Basketball Team and it included a pair of Tigers.
Sego (main photo) averaged 17 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game for Triton Central, who finished as the conference runner-up.
Silas Blair (photo, below), a junior, also was selected All-ICC after averaging 13.9 points and five rebounds per game this past season.
Also named All-ICC were Beech Grove senior Jarron Murry Jr. (10.5 ppg, 3.7 rpg); Ritter freshman Devin Bolden (11.6 ppg, 9 rpg) and senior Xavier Highbaugh (14 ppg, 3 rpg); Cascade junior Connor Sanders (11.7 ppg, 3.8 rpg); Lutheran juniors Cayden Loesher (11.7 ppg, 3.9 rpg) and L.J. Ward (18.9 ppg, 3.8 apg); Monrovia seniors Jayden Jones (13.4 ppg, 4.2 apg) and Tucker Rahn (15.8 ppg, 3.5 apg); Speedway sophomore Drew Matelic (14 ppg, 5.1 rpg) and senior Cam Reich (17.5 ppg, 6.1 rpg); and Scecina senior David Mendez.
Ritter was crowned ICC champions with a 6-1 record against conference foes. The Raiders finished the season with a 9-14 record.
Triton Central (16-7, 5-2 ICC) was runner-up ahead of Lutheran (15-9, 4-3), Speedway (9-13, 4-3), Monrovia (11-12, 3-4), Beech Grove (5-19, 3-4), Scecina (8-16, 2-5) and Cascade (10-12, 1-6).
