The Mid-Hoosier Conference champion Hauser Jets had four selections to the 2024 MHC All-Conference Boys Basketball Team.
Juniors Ledger Gelfius and Taeshaun Tate and sophomores Kameron Blair and Stryker Gill top the 12-player All-MHC squad.
Also named all-conference were Morristown freshman Kellen Crim, Southwestern junior Ben Kahler, Waldron junior Lucas Shaw (photo, center), Edinburgh senior Austin Brockman and junior Connor Ramey, North Decatur senior Kaden Muckerheide and junior Owen Eldridge, and South Decatur senior Jacob Scruggs.
Six more players were selected All-MHC Honorable Mention. They were Morristown’s Colin Kieninger, Southwestern’s Carter Snepp, Waldron’s Max Jones and Keith Settles, Hauser’s Alex Cord, and South Decatur’s Colby Rathburn.
Hauser head coach Trent Moorhead was named the MHC Coach of the Year after leading the Jets to the conference title with a 6-0 mark. Hauser is 17-6 this season.
North Decatur finished second in the conference standings at 13-11 (5-1 MHC) ahead of South Decatur (10-13, 3-3), Waldron (9-12, 3-3), Edinburgh (11-10, 2-4), Morristown (4-18, 1-5) and Southwestern (3-17, 1-5).
