The Little Illini Conference will be represented at the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 2A State Girls Basketball Finals in Normal. That is because the Robinson Lady Maroons captured the Tolono (Unity) Super-Sectional Monday night with a 45-36 win over Peotone. The Lady Maroons are now 28-5 and will face Nashville in the second semi-final Thursday at 3:45 p.m. at the CEFCU Arena. In the first semi-final at 2 p.m., Wilmette (Regina Dominican) plays Peoria (Notre Dame). The winners will return to play for the state championship Saturday at 1 p.m. while the two losers play Thursday at 7:45 p.m. for third place.
