Red Storm girls take win PLYMOUTH - The eighth grade girls basketball "A" team took on non-conference foe New Prairie and came away with a close 26-15 victory. Summer South led the way with eight points, while Clare Sheedy and Madie Mann added five and four points apiece. Also getting into the scoring column were Sara Hunter, Hannah Friberg, Kami Burkett and Sydney Rice. Hunter and South also led the way on the defensive end with two steals each. The win improves their record to 2-0. The girls will return to action on Wednesday in a featured non-conference matchup against area rival Argos, game time is approximately 5:30 p.m.
