Triton Central scored eight runs in the first three innings Saturday to secure a sectional semifinal win over Indianapolis Scecina.
Nick Riggins and Weston Smith each had four hits for the Tigers (19-5). Smith had two doubles and a home run to drive in six runs. Riggins finished with three RBI.
Bo West, Eli Sego and Brayden Hoover each had three hits.
Janssen Capps earned the win, allowing eight hits and three walks while striking out nine in six innings. Blaine Raider pitched a scoreless seventh inning to finish off the win.
Triton Central will face Heritage Christian (18-6) in the Class 2A sectional championship game today at noon at Heritage Christian.

Carter Gossett and Kason Weaver limited the Yellow Jackets to three hits while striking out 14 in the sectional semifinal contest.
The Panthers (22-4) scored three times in the first and five more times in the second to take control of the contest.
Jackson Daves finished with three hits and three RBI.
Morristown finished the season at 7-16.

At Champions Pointe, Logan Tobian led Shelbyville (330) with a 79. Jake Garrison finished one shot back at 80.
Also on the Golden Bears scorecard were Brock Wischmeyer (82), Logan Reinhart (89) and Ethan Hughes (99).
