The Pilgrim Cross Country teams started their dual meet season Tuesday night by traveling to Bremen to take on the Glenn Falcons and the host Lions.
The Pilgrim Boys swept the meet beating Glenn 15-50 and topping the host Lions 15-44. The Pilgrims took the top five spots with Konner Ray winning the meet. He was followed across the line by teammates Robby Richards, Jonah Howard, David Schedak, and Nolan Bales.
The Lady Pilgrims fell to Bremen 26-29. Glenn did not have enough runners for a complete girl’s team. Ashley Rosas won the meet. Summer South (6th), Fatima Ramirez (9th), Amaya Ameling (11th), and Autumn Swift (13th) were the top Pilgrim runners.
Next up is a trip to the Penn Invitational on Saturday. Start time is set for 9:15.
