Plymouth jumped out to a 17-3 first quarter lead and never looked back in a Tuesday road win at Mishawaka (Marian), 56-14.
The Pilgrims established a 20-point halftime lead, 31-11. A 20-0 third quarter left no doubt as Marian lost by a wide margin for the third time to start the season after being ranked in the preseason 3A top-15.
Alana Allen led Plymouth with 13 points and six rebounds. Lena Jones and Tynley Gantz also scored in double-figures with 11 each.
Rylee Mann added nine for Plymouth (1-1).
Plymouth travels to Michigan City for a 11:30 a.m. junior varsity start Saturday. GIANT fm Sports coverage of the varsity game follows the JV contest at approximately 12:30 p.m.
