JV softball Plymouth drops road opener NEW CARLISLE - The JV Lady Pilgrim Softball team opened their season Tuesday night traveling to New Prairie. The Pilgrims fell in their opener 17-3. The Pilgrims only picked up two hits on the day. Kelsey Vanlue had the only RBI for the Pilgrims. They scored all three of their runs in the second inning. Brooklyn Brennan was the starting pitcher for the Pilgrims. She took the loss but the Pilgrim defense did not help her much as they had five errors. Kayleigh Einspahr also pitched for the Pilgrims. Next up for the Pilgrims is a 5:00 game in Centennial Park. They once again will play New Prairie.
