The Parkview Junior High track and field season continued Wednesday with the first home action of the year.
The Braves and Lady Braves hosted Barr-Reeve, North Knox, Vincennes Rivet and Grayville at Ed Loeb Field in Lawrenceville.
Parkview won the 7th grade boys meet with 142 points led by three event winner Derek Rodriguez (100M, 220M, Long Jump).
The boys 8th grade meet winner was North Knox with Parkview 3rd.
The Lady Braves won the 7th grade girls meet with 154 points.
The girls 8th grade meet champion was North Knox with 186 points with Parkview 2nd with 93.
It was a record setting day for the team.
The girls 7th grade 4x100M relay team of Karenza Haas, Vivica Baker, Sienna Ivers and Meko Bickers set a new school record in that event.
The boys 7th grade 4x110M relay team of Cain Monroy, Ja'sean Inman, Samuel Inman and Derek Rodriguez also set a new school record.
Lexi Brooke also bettered her own school record in the girls 8th grade mile run.
The braves next compete on Monday at Marshall.
