The Florida Panthers defeated the NY Rangers with a score of 3-2 in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Final at Madison Square Garden on Thursday
They pushed the Rangers to the brink of elimination by taking a 3-2 series lead as the series heads back to Florida.
The Panthers’ Anton Lundell broke a tie on a deflected shot with 9:38 left, with Gustav Forsling and Sam Bennett also scoring, and goalie Sergei Bobrovsky making 25 saves to help earn Florida the win.
Game 6 shifts back to Florida, set to take place at Amerant Bank Arena on Saturday at 8 p.m.
