The top seeds have advanced to the final game of the Class 2A Lawrenceville Girls Basketball regional tournament. Both were semi-final winners on Monday night at Lawrenceville High School. The second seeded Mt Carmel Lady Golden Aces ran their record to 25-4 with a 56-36 victory over Toledo (Cumberland) in the first game led by Maci Randall with 17 points. The third seeded Teutopolis Lady Wooden Shoes also had no problem in the second game as they jumped out to a big lead and beat the Marshall Lady Lions 74-20 with Anna Probst leading the scoring with 15 points. The two will now face off for the title at 7 p.m. Thursday and a berth in the Newton Sectional.
