Congratulations to sophomore Hudson Meek of the Lawrenceville-Red Hill wrestling squad.
He went 2-2 in matches in the 144 pound class at the Class 1A individual wrestling finals held this past weekend at the State Farm Center in Champaign.
He lost his opening round match Thursday, but then won two straight in wrestlebacks before a decision loss to Logan Riggs of Roxana Saturday.
He did not place among the top six in the weight class, won by Emmett Nelson of Richmond.
Meek wrapped up the season at 38-12 and will be one of the top returning wrestlers for LHS next year.
