Marian University’s Ancilla College has announced Kyle Allison as its new Athletic Director, effective July 19, 2023.
Prior to joining Marian University’s Ancilla College, Allison served as Director of Cross County and Track and Field at the University of Saint Francis for six years and as Assistant Track and Field Coach at Manchester University for three years.
“Kyle Allison has an excellent track record of success in athletics, and I am confident he will continue to build on the strong foundation established by Shaun McAillister and her team,” said Joseph P. Heidt, Chancellor of Marian University’s Ancilla College. “With nearly 75 percent of students participating in a sport, we view athletics as a laboratory for training disciplined and skilled leaders who are prepared to serve their communities and beyond.”
Marian University’s Ancilla College is a member of the NJCAA offering eight men’s and nine women’s sports. This past year, Ancilla women’s basketball had two 1st Team All-MCCAA Western Conference players and the golf team earned the highest GPA in the conference. In 2022 and 2023, bowling, cross-country, and wrestling teams all placed in nationals.
“Throughout my career as a collegiate Cross Country and Track and Field Coach, my goals have always been to help those I work with achieve more than they thought possible. I look forward to serving at Marian University’s Ancilla College to support northern Indiana’s future transformational leaders,” said Kyle Allison, new Athletic Director at Marian University’s Ancilla College.
