MISHAWAKA – The LaVille defense forced 30 Mishawaka turnovers and picked up 21 steals to collect a 43-29 victory over the Lady Cavemen Tuesday night. This was the first LV victory at ‘The Cave’ since January 4, 2006. The Lady Lancers also ended a seven-game winning streak by Mishawaka in the series.
Lucy Sherk led the Lancer offense with 17 points and nine rebounds. Brooke Edison and Mikalah Kuskye had four steals each while Lauren Edison and Heaylyn Kwiatkowski added three apiece as eight different Lancer players had a steal. Kwiatkowski also dished out five assists, Brooke Edison had eight boards, and London Kwiatkowski seven rebounds.
