LV eighth graders fall in title LAKEVILLE, IN. – The eighth grade girls basketball team played host to the Mid-Winter Classic. Argos, Rochester and Winamac joined the host Lancers. The girls lost 41-21 to Rochester in the championship game of the Mid-Winter Classic. Lucy Sherk and Karisma Lewis led the LaVille offense with six points each. LaVille picked up a 32-23 victory over Winamac in the first round. Lucy Sherk led all scorers with 19 points. Lauren Edison added six points Karisma Lewis chipped in with four points.
