Lions win three-way meet
WALKERTON - Bremen defeated LaVille and Glenn in boys track at GHS Tuesday night. First place finishers for LaVille included: Austin Dove (HJ), Nick Felke (800), Luke Beehler (200), 4x100 relay (Kolby Watts, Beehler, Ethan Yoder, Felke), 4x400 relay (Watts, Tommy Goze, Yoder, Felke).
First place finishers for Bremen were Chase Carrico in the pole vault with a 10’6”, Patrick Lacher in the shot with a throw of 43’6”, Patrick Lacher in the discus with a 116’2”, Justin Zumbrun was a double winner in the long jump with a 20’7” and the 300 hurdles with a 43.3, Evan Manger in the 110 hurdles with a 16.3, Evan Yoder was a double winner with an 11.57 in the 100 dash and a 53.9 in the 400, Arron Young in the 3200 with an 11:32.
Bremen also won the 4x800 relay (Tyler Smith, Kenny Hilgendorf, Seth Young, Logan Fish) with a 9:23, and the 4x100 relay with a time of 47.92.
Glenn had firsts from Jack Hochstetler in the 1600 with a 4:54, and the 4x400 relay team with a time of 3:43.
