It was a tough day Saturday for the Lawrenceville Lady basketball Indians.
They lost to top seeded Mt Carmel 58-26 in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Little Illini Conference Girls Tournament being held at Richland County (Olney) High School.
They will now play Monday at 6 p.m. against host Richland County (Olney) in consolation bracket play.
Richland County lost to Robinson 56-53, Paris rolled over Casey-Westfield 59-24 and Newton blasted Marshall 51-18 in the other opening quarterfinal games.
