Coming off their 3rd place finish in the IHSA Class 1A State Basketball Tournament this past weekend, several members of the Lawrenceville Indians are getting post-season accolades.
Senior Jayden Goff was named as a First Team member of the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) All-State Team. The 6'5' forward averaged almost 14 points and 7 rebounds a game for the 35-3 Indians. Senior teammate Zander Cessna was named to the IBCA Second Team All-State after he averaged over 12 points and 3 rebounds a game this past season.
All five Indian starters were picked for the Little Illini All-Conference Team by vote of the league coaches. Goff, Cessna and their senior teammate Noah Wilson who averaged almost 14 points and 6 rebounds, were First-Team members. Senior Jacek Mickiewicz was named to the Second Team and senior Emery Ivers was picked as an Honorable Mention
