Four Parkview Junior High Wrestling Braves have qualified for the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) state finals after wrestling at sectional this past weekend at Vandalia. Both 7th grader Dalton Baker and 7th grader Leroy Weirich captured first place in their weight classes of 75 and 215 pounds respectively while 7th grader Kody Lloy and 8th grade Kyler Guercio both finished third in their weight classes of 65 and 90 pounds to advance. All four will wrestle in the Class A state meet which is this coming weekend-Friday March 8th and Saturday March 9th at the Convocation Center on the campus of Northern Illinois University in Dekalb.
