Shelbyville High School junior swimmer Riley Everette has been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athlete of the Week.
Everette punched her ticket to the IHSAA Swimming and Diving State Finals after finishing second overall in the 100-yard butterfly Saturday at the New Palestine Sectional.
Her time of 57.01 set a new school record.
Taylor Parsons of Greenfield-Central won the 100 butterfly sectional championship in 56.84.
The state finals will take place at the Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis on Friday and Saturday.
