The Edmonton Oilers are advancing to the Stanley Cup Final after beating the Dallas Stars in Game 6 of the Western Conference Final at Rogers Place in Edmonton on Sunday with a score of 2-1.
The Oilers will advance to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 2006.
The Oilers’ Connor McDavid had a goal and an assist, Zach Hyman also scored and Evan Bouchard had a pair of assists, while Stuart Skinner made 34 saves to clinch the series.
Edmonton will face the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final, with Game 1 set to take place on Saturday, June 8th in Florida.
